Easy Baked Tilapia Recipe | Spicy Lemon Garlic

This easy oven baked tilapia is incredibly quick to with some rice and vegetables. It has that lemon garlic taste with just a little bit of spice that you can leave out if you want. You can make this baked tilapia within 20 minutes!

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 lemon cut into slices
  • chopped parsley for garnish optional


  • Preheat oven to 400°
  • Season tilapia with pepper and pink Himalayan salt
  • Place tilapia on baking sheet
  • Mix everything in a small-sized bowl (not the sliced lemon or parsley)
  • Pour mixture over tilapia
  • Add one sliced lemon to each piece
  • Bake 10-12 minutes until it is tender, use a fork to check
  • Sprinkle parsley over fillets
