Edible cookie dough is my favorite treat to have. We all love cookie dough and to be honest I like it way more than I do the actual cookie. This is not a healthy recipe but it is an alternative so you are not exposing yourself to salmonella. I love this recipe and could eat it all day but of course it is always about balance. There are only a few amount of ingredients so you can enjoy your eggless cookie dough in no time!
2 Tablespoons of softened butter
1/4 cup of brown sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
1 Tablespoon of milk or almond milk (more if needed)
2 cups of flour or almond flour (add more or less based on how thick you want it)
1 cup of mini chocolate chips
1/8 teaspoon of salt
Leave in fridge for 30 min
Sardines are incredibly healthy and quick to make. First of all they are a great source of protein! In addition they are also loaded with omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, iron, and potassium. Something that is interesting is that one can contains 351 milligrams of bone building calcium, you should be reaching for 1,000 milligrams a day. This seems like a pretty good meal to me plus it keeps you full!
-Sardines (fresh is a much better option of course)
-Onions, Jalapenos, Tomatoes
-Himalayan Salt, Black Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes
Saute the onions, jalapenos, tomatoes, and the minced garlic. Put the can of sardines in and cook until they are tender. I like to add red pepper for extra spice, and black pepper with himalayan salt.
I have avocado for a very nutritious side, plus I love it 😉
