I fell in love when I made meatloaf for the first time a few months ago. For some reason meatloaf never sounded appetizing to me. The first thought I had when it came to meatloaf is that it’s just a dry piece of meat that is huge. I am sure when I was younger someone probably made it for me and I just didn’t like it. Plus, I HATE ketchup. But now that I love cooking it is important to me to always try new foods and recipes. Thankfully I gave meatloaf another try because it is now one of my favorite meals to make because of how quick and easy it is. I love serving it with mashed potatoes and green beans but you can do whatever works for you and your family. If you’re a meatloaf hater like I was, hopefully you’ll enjoy this recipe!

Easy Meatloaf Recipe

This easy meatloaf recipe is full of flavor and I promise if your not a fan of meatloaf you will love this recipe!

  • 2 lb ground beef
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 white onion diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 3/4 cup panko
  • 2 tsp worcestershire
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • salt/pepper to liking


  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp mustard
  • 3 tbsp parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • salt/pepper to liking


  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Mix together all of the meatloaf ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  • In a 9×5 loaf pan, add the meat mixture, push the mixture down and shape. You can shape the meatloaf yourself if you do not have a loaf pan.
  • Bake for 40 minutes.
  • White the meatloaf is baking, mix together all of the ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  • After 40 minutes spread the sauce all over the meatloaf. Bake for 15-minutes or until the internal temperature is 165 degrees.
  • Rest for 10 minutes and garnish with parsley.
