These blackened fish tacos are one of my favorite things to make when it is Taco Tuesday. I like to switch up the meat or fish that we are using every week so we are having something different. Blackened fish goes so well with these tacos because it gives them a different but delicious taste.

People typically just use regular or fried fish when using it in tacos but I suggest trying this recipe if you have not before. If you do not like cod you could make these blackened tacos with tilapia, salmon, or even shrimp.
When I am trying to watch my carbs I like to use lettuce cups instead of tortillas. In my opinion it is all about the toppings so you won’t even miss the tortilla. Since fish is such a light dish I like to use all fresh toppings for my tacos. Some toppings that I use are jalapeños, avocado, cilantro, homemade pico de gallo, and a lime sauce.
